I was watching the news last night and I was like...what? You know times are hard when America's #1 crack dealer is closing stores...lol. Starbucks is set to close 600 stores by next year, about 8.5% of its stores.
Wow, I remember when I could afford Starbucks. My favorite drink is the Caramel Macchiatto. Yum! I know other recovering addicts who don't buy frequently anymore as well.
Was designer coffee just a fad? Is it the economy's fault? I personally think it's a little of both. I realized I could have great tasting coffee at home. Maxwell House, Folgers, whatever. Add a tiny bit of sugar, flavored creamer, and some whipped cream (the extra creamy kind) on top. Yo...I'm telling you it's the bomb. Now if I can only get that homemade fuel recipe to work...
