Admittedly, I missed the first hour or so of the show. I watched those segments later on YouTube before BET had a chance to shut the vids down, as the networks always do. Ok, onto the memorable moments....
Usher opened the show and got a lot of flack for lip-syncing. I still thought he was hotter than Ne-Yo, who did sing live but is hardly touching Usher's moves. Ne-Yo, you're a bomb ass writer but you will never be Ursh.
I love, love, love 90's R&B so when Alicia Keys brought out my girls SWV, En Vogue, and TLC, I was like awwwwww shit. I only wish she had let them sing their own songs. We know you're the woman Alicia. You could've let my homegirls shine a lil more.
The Al Green tribute was so-so...until my boy Maxwell came on. Can we say panties flying at the TV? My man Maxwell was doing the damn thing. Totally ripped it. But why did Al Green start off his speech by thanking the "Academy." LMAO.
Ok I know I left out a bunch of stuff, but I'm just leaving room for YOU to tell me what you thought...

That's funny cause when Maxwell came across the stage I went from sitting at my computer across the room to standing in front of the TV... jaw dropped and all. It wasn't long before my phone started ringing off the hook with my homegirls making sure I was watching. I've watched it like 6 times on DVR.... seriously!
Girl, I believe you. That performance was HOTTTT!
