This is a question for the hardcore music fans out there. Have you ever cried for music? Seriously. Have you ever been so frustrated with the direction the industry is going that it literally brought you to tears? Ok maybe not, lol. But I have. Listening to this interview with the Game resurfaced some emotions I've been harboring for some time...not necessarily towards hip-hop specifically, but black music in general.
I'm a musician, but I'm a fan of music first. I get what the Game is saying. Something just ain't right with the industry right now. I've often described music as my on again, off again lover. I want to love him but he makes it sooooo hard sometimes.
