That Cheatin' Old Man...

Obama and McCain appeared together for the first time since the primaries this past Saturday with Rick Warren, the popular evangelist who wrote the book The Purpose Driven Life. Warren moderated a 'faith forum' at his church in California, in which he gave each candidate an hour interview.

It wasn't a true debate per se because they weren't on the stage at the same time. The way it was 'supposed' to work is Warren would flip a coin to see who'd go first and the other candidate would stay in a 'cone of silence' backstage until it was his turn. But check this out...McCain was thirty minutes late. What? Thirty minutes late? You're gonna be thirty minutes late to this forum which just happens to be broadcast on every news network in America? The first meeting of sorts between you and your opponent for the freakin presidency of the United States and you're late? Get outta here McCain.

You were late because you were in your motorcade listening to Obama's interview, you cheatin' old man. I saw you Saturday and you were a bit swifter than normal. I was thinking damn, the old man is trying to get it together. But noooooo.

I don't know how far this discussion will get in the mainstream media. NBC's Andrea Mitchell mentioned it on "Meet the Press" and has already received a nasty letter from McCain's campaign manager. Read about that here.

We can't let this man get elected. We just can't.
