R.I.P. Isaac Hayes

Damn, two legends gone in two days. Isaac Hayes was a soul artist/producer/arranger I got into when I was in college in the 90's. That was 'our' era for soul music and Isaac Hayes' influence was all up in it. Just listen to some of this man's music and you will realize just how heavily sampled and influential this man's music was. Artists from Biggie to Tupac, from Ashanti to Mary J. Blige had hit songs based on this man's work.

Isaac Hayes remains an icon in the soul music genre. His work will live on for generations to come. R.I.P. Ike.
